Maybe It's Worth Stopping for a Moment to Reflect on the Fogel Family Murders

Listen to Glenn Beck's commentary, one of the only mainstream commentators who has taken a moment or two to reflect on the unspeakable evil visited upon the Fogel family, all of Israel, and the moral universe. At the second half of the clip Beck makes a reference to Bernadine Dohrn, whose hero was Charles Manson. The thought of Dohrn's murder-worship is soul-crushing, but so is progressivism. See Walter Hudson as well, "Horrific Stabbing of Infant Shows Flaw in Leftist Worldview."

I'll have more on all of this. Folks have been appreciative of these essays.

I am thankful for your posts asking people with a conscience to understand the true nature of Arab hatred towards Jews and Western civilization. I, of course, have tremendous respect for Glenn Beck and his statements. However, much of the world is not listening. The Muslims, the American and European Left, both have de-humanized Jews and their slaughter is ignored. The Left wing does not label the Fogel family as Jews or Israelis, but as "settlers" insinuating that they deserve to be killed. The continuous volume of hatred coming from Arab media only makes the killers to be heroes. Perhaps the Arabs will name a street after them.

This is a seminal moment. The Western world does not care if Jews are murdered, and in fact, are urging their deaths. I hope that we Jews have the strength to draw that line in the sand.

It is a seminal moment, Norm. One of the reasons I enjoy Melanie Phillips' writing is that she reminds us of Israel's pivotal place in today's moral crisis. Where one stands regarding Israel indicates whether one is on the side of good or evil.

Thanks for reading over here as well.
